Readers' Bios
Michelle Yasmine Valladares first book of poems is Nortada, The North Wind by Global City Press, 2005. She has recently published poems in Fulcrum, An Anthology of Indian Poets and on www.poets against war. She teaches writing and literature at The City College of New York in Harlem and poetry in the public schools for the New York City Ballet.
Monica Ferrell is a former "Discovery"/The Nation winner and Wallace Stegner Fellow. Her poems have been published in The New York Review of Books, Paris Review, Fence and elsewhere. She is an assistant professor in the creative writing program at SUNY Purchase. Her first novel will be published by Dial Press in 2007.
Daniel Lin's chapbook, Tinder, was published by Nightboat Books in 2004.His poems have appeared in Chelsea, Agni, Indiana Review, Verse, and Washington Square. He was a New York Times Fellow in NYU's graduatewriting program and a Tennessee Williams Scholar at Sewanee Writers'Conference.
